Introduction by Michael Horovitz indicates its application to Europe in the 1960s, which is further emphasized by the unique representation of the art of the 'twenties in the typography and design. 'Anatol Stern yields not one centimetre to the decadence he describes, but refers to an order which makes no distinction between social and aesthetic commitment.'
